Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using InboxCheck ("the Service"), a product of Lanos Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Silver Square, Dattatray Road, Santacruz West, Mumbai, India, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

InboxCheck provides email address verification through a Chrome browser extension and web dashboard. The Service checks whether email addresses are likely deliverable and provides Safe, Risky, or Unsafe verdicts.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for spamming, phishing, or any illegal activity
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or verification quotas
• Resell or redistribute verification results commercially without written permission
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Use automated scripts to access the Service beyond normal extension use
• Share account credentials or API keys with unauthorized parties

5. Service Tiers & Quotas

Free accounts receive 25 verifications per day. Paid plans (Solo, Pro, Team) provide increased daily quotas. We reserve the right to modify these limits with 30 days notice. Burst credit packs are non-refundable and expire 12 months after purchase.

6. Payments and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through our payment providers. All prices are in USD. Refunds may be issued at our discretion within 7 days of purchase. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Accuracy Disclaimer

Email verification results are provided on a "best effort" basis. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy. Results may be affected by recipient server configuration, temporary failures, greylisting, or other factors outside our control. The Service is not a substitute for proper email list hygiene practices.

8. Privacy & Data Handling

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement. Email addresses submitted for verification are hashed using SHA-256 before storage. We do not store raw email addresses.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, algorithms, and branding, is the intellectual property of Lanos Technologies Pvt. Ltd. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

InboxCheck shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to email bounces, sender reputation impact, data loss, or business interruption. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms or for any reason with 30 days notice. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms with 30 days notice via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, India.
